I recently had someone ask about what a model should be putting out there on social media. I honestly have very different views on what needs to and what should not be posted on social media. That rule of thumb about posting about being on vacation our out of town to me is always a good rule of thumb.

The issue that I see more and more is that you make a personal page and you want it to act like a modeling page. Then you seem to be crossing over with maybe some rants that might hinder you from getting a job as they might have the perception that you are not a hard worker. Maybe some of the images are very risqué and they are not sure about if the client happens to see them? Perception on this issue is always tricky.

If you are only going to have one page and that will serve as your modeling and your personal page.. just be prepared on the comments or the backlash some of your images and/or content may cause. You have to really be thick skinned with this and not get your feelings hurt just because someone disagrees with you. You can start a debate but, once you escalate it to an argument then it tends to take up too much of your time. It also drains you of energy that could be put somewhere else.

If you have an agent, ask them on what they have as suggestions. I would ask other models and photographers. You know what you stand for and what you want to get out of your modeling. The options on social media are endless on what you can do. And then you will be able to find your own answer.
