I have some new images from Scott Gibson studios as well as another photographer that are going to be put up over the next few weeks. I see posts from models and I am honestly wondering what their intentions are when they think that they are posting or responding for modeling assignments. Posting that selfie or that Instagram image to me is helpful but, honestly does not really mean you are a model. There is a thing about having a professional portfolio. Making a true resume for companies and others to look at to see the experience that you actually have.
It is a game that we all play. The new ones in the business regardless of whatever that they say…may last a few years if that. They will get burned, get involved in something that they did not want to just for the money, or just get bored. The serious one will keep pushing through the trenches to get things done. It is in all in making your intentions clear.
By the time that this posted. I hope to have some of the new images up and running. I am happy to say that a few of the ideas were out of my usual comfort zone. I am working on some new themes all of the time. I wanted to thank Scott, Donna, James, and Andy for working with me on these latest images. I really do appreciate them.
I am always one for taking on a challenge. I am excited about some of the new shoots that I have planned this summer. I am going to be working with some new talent and photographers. I also will be working with some that I have known for a long time. I can’t wait.
Apparently, I missed the updating of the modeling resume for the last year! Yeeks! as I know I did some shoots last year but, they are not listed on my resume. I know that there was a lot going on last year and that I did not shoot as often just due to things and a huge medical issue. I have only done a handful this year as I am getting back on track here from having a medical hiatus. I still have four shoots worth of images that I have yet to get time to go through and put up here. I am hoping to get to them sometime soon.
Time gets away from you. You wonder where the day went. You reflect on instances. You find yourself wondering on where it all went. You have to let go. Sometimes even if you have to care less. It is what you have to do to keep yourself sane. I wish there was a simpler fix.
