From me to you, wishing all my friends, family and fans Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!
With the posts on social media is is interesting on who is very into the holidays and who is not. It makes you think, do the holidays have too much cheer? Why is there added stress to the holidays? Is that to make sure that friends and family have the best time and get the best gifts?
I find myself this year just not in the holiday mood. I am not sure if it is due to the fact that I wanted one assignment to last forever and it did not. I had really high hopes for this year. I wanted a lot to happen. I wanted for some of the reactions from people to be sincere. I found that I just got the responses that just came out of their mouths. I have to digress back to the saying “reality bites.”

Some people deck out their houses for the holidays. I love the decorations! I would love to get to the Biltmore every year to see the amazing trees and lights. I would love to do a carriage ride through the holiday streets.
The holidays for most are bitter sweet. They remind people of happier memories or of loved ones that they have lost. I recall trying not to peek at gifts that were put underneath the tree. I would also now recall those infamous Black Friday early shopping trips with friends. I am not sure how we manage to make it to three or four malls in a day!
The sparkle of the holidays is and will be me being with my close family and friends. I can’t wait to see what memories that will come with this year.
