There is an unwritten rule to modeling. You have your regular life and then you have your modeling life. it is sometimes hard to switch between the two. Your family won’t always approve of your modeling and then they would want to get involved. You can have a supportive family who also just want to run your modeling career. There are so many variables to it.

Listening to stories and some of them I would call horror stories is hard to fathom on how some models are treated. What I have found the most infuriating is how friends of friends, once they hear that you have or are a model, they think that they can take advantage of that fact and exploit that for their own agenda. That is and has happened to me. I have lost friends due to those instances. I don’t regret losing them as those people crossed a line that should have never been crossed in the first place.

You have to do what is right and works for you. Your immediate family who you trust should be able to support you and your modeling. if they do not, there needs to be a conversation.  Carpe Diem.
